Purpose
Increase the agricultural productivity 20-30% in selected 20 village of the district by 25 Nov.,2014.
Quality Objective
- Technology assessment and refinement through demonstration of technology/products and its dissemination through trainings, and extension activities.
- Develop alternative cropping pattern for flood prone area of the district.
- Income, employment and food security though diversification of land use pattern.
- Conducting “on farm testing” for identifying technologies in terms of location specific sustainable land use system.
- Organize training to update the extension personnel with emerging advances in agricultural research on regular basis.
- Organize short and long term vocational training courses in agricultural and allied vocational for the farmers and rural youths with emphasis on ”learning by doing” for higher production on farms and generating self employment.
